A little help goes a long way

Let’s find the answer.

A few useful things for the website and early versions of Elo.

The website & demo

How do I use the little lesson?
Start with the meaning, then choose the word that fits the sample sentence. Once you’ve found it, write a sentence of your own and compare it with an example. You can try another word at any time.
Where do my answers go?
Your demo answers and practice sentence stay in the memory of this browser page. They are not sent to Elo, stored in an account, or synced with the iPhone app. Reloading the page starts fresh.
Why can’t I download Elo yet?
Elo is still being prepared for release. The iPhone page will link to the App Store when it’s available. You can explore the word collection and try sample lessons here in the meantime.

Using the iPhone app

How do I restore a purchase?
In Elo, go to You → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Purchases made in a test environment do not transfer to the live App Store.
How do I manage an Apple subscription?
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Select the subscription to see the available options. Deleting an app does not cancel its subscription. See Apple’s subscription guide ↗
How do I request a refund?
For a purchase billed by Apple, submit your request through Apple’s refund service. Eligibility and decisions are handled by Apple. See Apple’s refund guide ↗
My reminders aren’t arriving.
Check You → Settings → Reminders in Elo, then check notification permission for Elo in your iPhone’s Settings. Focus modes and notification schedules can affect when a reminder appears.
How do I change privacy settings?
Open You → Settings in the app to review the available privacy and data controls. The browser demo has no account, analytics cookies, or saved learning history. App privacy controls are separate from the website.
What should I include in a bug report?
Include your Elo app version, iOS version, what you expected, and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot can help if it contains no private information. Never include passwords, sign-in codes, or payment details.

These instructions cover early app builds. Some settings may change before release. Billing help applies only if you have a purchase billed by Apple.
